Dear Little Ferry Families,

I hope this letter finds you well and excited for the upcoming school year. My name is Jimmy Dunn, and I am thrilled to enter my fourth year as Director of Curriculum and Instruction in Little Ferry. With nearly two decades of experience in education, I have had the privilege of teaching all grades from preschool through grade 8, which uniquely qualifies me to support our youngest learners as they begin their educational journey.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Elementary Education, a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from William Paterson University, and another Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Montclair State University. Additionally, I serve on the Executive Board as Secretary for the Bergen County Curriculum Consortium. My passions include data analysis, social-emotional learning, restorative justice, and fostering high-quality collaboration, all of which guide my work here in Little Ferry.

Outside of school, I am a husband to my wonderful wife, Sally, who is a Preschool Disabled teacher, and a father to our 4-year-old son, Marco, and our almost 1-year-old daughter, Juliette. We also share our home with our rescue dog, Rigatoni. I cherish the time spent playing with my family, gardening, cooking, exercising, and, of course, reading.
